We paddle the rivers, lakes, marshes, and bays in the Washington, D.C., area.  We get up close and personal with beautiful scenery and wildlife, we see things from the water that are not visible any other way, and we enjoy the special happiness -- a magical combination of tranquility and exhilaration --  that comes from being on the water.  Some of us paddle for the exercise, some to watch birds, some to reduce tension, and some to socialize.  But we all enjoy kayaking, and enjoy doing it togeth …

Hello and welcome to the Lez Go Kayaking meetup group. This meetup group is a kayaking group exclusively for lesbians that was formed in October 2011. Lez Go Kayaking meetup group is for lesbian women who like to get out on flatwater; rivers, lakes and the Chesapeake Bay, and paddle at their leisure. We are a non-competitive social group with the goal of having fun on the water. After paddling, we often go to lunch together. Outings are scheduled by the organizer for a Saturday or Sunday launch. …
