This is a canoe / kayak trip on the Colorado river through the Black Canyon below Hoover dam. I’d like to get a minimum of ten folks to sign up. This river section length is 11 miles, and we will take two days for this trip. The schedule is to drive to Boulder City, NV on Friday eve, stay in the Hacienda Hotel, then launch below Hoover Dam on Saturday at 8 AM. We would camp on the river (probably at “Arizona Campground”) on Saturday eve, and reach the take out at Willow Beach about 3 pm Sunday. There are several hikes to take along the way and a few hot springs to sit in. I have posted some fotos from a prior trip (Oct 2007) in the PHOTOS section.

We will use an outfitter to provide the vessels and the shuttle service. They will also provide a paddle, life jacket and drybag for each person. We meet them at 7 am in the parking lot of the Hacienda Hotel.
