Just met up with a few members at San Onofre. Seems like a fun group! I enjoy being out on the water in just about anything. Would love to meet people with the same interests of the outdoors.
Paddle a kayak upright.
I am up for anything once, O.K. sometimes twice, O.K. O.K. I will do anything until I get hurt. Then I will probably turn it into a regular sport.
Baja, Channel Islands, Costa Rica, Hawaii, California/Oregon/Washington coast, San Juan Islands, Any River, anywhere new!!! I camp, travel and hike regularly also.
On and off for a bit ... awhile, some years, a fair length of time. Touring, surf ski, surf kayak, whitewater, freestyle, outriggers, etc.
Have had just about anything that is paddled. Including my ass at the last beginner's paddle!
This group is a bunch of nuts! It is great to find like personality people to share time with. You guys are the best!!!

"Be sure and bring clothing suitable for all type's of weather. As far as kayaking clothing if you are not familiar with what to wear I would suggest this. NO COTTON. Rain gear worn over fleece in case it gets windy/cold/spray...."
"I have not been going (I assume you are talking about the Kern or American) in the last few years. Before that I went regularly. You might try Dale in the group, he may just be rafting though."
