Introduction

I am pretty much a beginner, but I love ocean sports. I like the calm of kayaking. I also scuba dive, hike, play tennis and scrapbook/stamp.

Is there anything Special that you want to do in this group?

Get better at kayaking?

Do you just want to go and kayak or do you want informational get togethers also?

I would attend something informational if it was relevant to my skill level.

Is there a place that you would like to go or have gone before and liked?

I have only been to local harbors, a Hawaii river and the bay in San Simeon. Open ocean once with the Southwind class.

Have you been Kayaking very long or are you new?

Pretty new. I kayaked here and there for a few years and took a class with Southwind in 2006 to get better. Just did their comprehensive weekend class, and have been paddling with this group for practice!

Do you have a boat or plan on getting one?

Just got a cute little white Seda Gypsy, thanks to Scott!
