  •  Hey Blake thanks for the message. We will probably be able to make Anacapa. I have reserved a third campsite for us. I just need to ask for time off but it shouldn't be a problem.

  •  Hey Blake, We had a great time over the weekend. We had a bit more than we bargained for on Sunday but since we all came out of it okay (less can be said for Pierre's and Lee's Kayaks) we can say it was a good learning experience!! Looking forward to coming back soon...

  •  I have 2 kayaks that I store on Poplar Street in North Laguna Beach...though I live on Beverly across from Husky Boy Burgers. I am more of a swimmer really and would like to do some of the longer swims but my lack of having a kayaker (paddler) impedes me. I have assisted on 4 channel crossings...3 in horrific conditions 20-25 knot winds, 6-8 ft swells and 57F water). i had no experience but what the heck (someone remind me to use a life jacket someday...oops!)
    Thanks for the welcome! ”

  •  So Blake, What a great day on the back bay. I am glad your nephew had a good time. He was a nice kid. I hope we didn't bore him too much at lunch. LOL I think the kayak polo idea could be pretty good. Maybe with some practice, what do you think, meetup against CKF? LOL, only they have to paddle with one arm behind their back. hehehehe

  •  I'm not sure if my reputation is good or bad. But I joined this group so my wife and I can occasionally join some of the bay paddles in our double kayak. It looks like this group has a lot of fun on the water.

  •  Blake is good company with a good sense of humor. He has big plans for the group in the way of open ocean outings. Now as assistant organizer these plans can become a reality.

Rolling is the topic of many the groups discussions. Its just a matter of time before he and Ellen roll. Both of them are close. A friendly wager perhaps?
